There is a bleed screw on the filter for when you change it so would be best to do it that way (but you will need a pipe going to a jug don't just open it (see my post on oil change)). but it will bleed itself as it has a very good lift pump in the tank. been there done that. Phillips screw drive is all that is needed. Then remove the filters using a 1 1/16" socket. Expect to get 5-6 ozs of fuel draining out of both filters. I just used fuel to lube the O rings.
