Remove drain plug in the oil pan and drain the oil. fergie2035. Procedure is, slacken fuel filter bleed bolt and either hand pump it or crank on the starter till fuel free from bubbles comes out. Tighen it, then do the same thing with the fuel pump bleed screws. The fuel pump requires two relays to be energized - one from the ECM (Relay 116) and one in the rear fuse box (Relay 103). Both relays are controlled by the ECM (Module D131) Relay R116 is controlled by a switched negative from ECM (pin 23 on connector 604).
