Off to Verona for 1st time in Aug, is it easy to get to lake garda and the fun parks from Verona by public transport. Train or bus. How do we go about this? If not, what about hiring a car, easy, expensive and easy/hard to drive over there? Many thanks in advance.

We stayed in Verona and did day trips to Lake Garda. One can go by train or bus. The bus goes up the east shore of Lake Garda.
The cheapest train from Verona to Venice is €9.74, whilst the most expensive is €17.76. Some of the cheapest trains can take longer (upwards of 2 hours) but most of the cheapest trains take 1h 28m. We would recommend searching ahead and booking your tickets in advance so you can find the cheapest & quickest trains.
